Rules for Use of Golf Carts 
​Braidwood Recreation Club

​1. Must be 18 years old to drive golf carts. 

2. Must provide Certificate of Insurance naming Braidwood Recreation Club as additional insured with $300,000 coverage minimum per occurrence. Policy must be in Member’s name and cover all drivers and passengers. 

3. BRC Tag must be purchased each year. 

4. Cart must be inspected by a Board Member before a tag can be purchased. 

5. Membership # must be displayed in four inch numbers on front and rear of cart. 

6. Cart must be equipped with front and rear lights. 

7. May be driven ONLY on approved roads. NO dirt roads or grass. No carts on outer roads after sunset. 

8. Obey speed limits. 

9. Use hand signals when turning. 

10. No drinking alcohol while operating the golf cart.

11. Carts cannot be used on Golf Course unless tracking fee has been paid.
